The RUPERT NEVE DESIGN 511 is a microphone preamplifier with variable SILK, based on the award-winning 517 module, featuring the same high-pass filter as the 5012 module and the variable Silk control derived from the 'flagship' Portico II Channel. With Silk, you can enhance sound quality and add a vintage color, reducing negative feedback to achieve a very pleasant and musical sound. The RUPERT NEVE DESIGN 511 naturally supports microphone or line sources, proving absolutely perfect with ribbon microphones, as well as dynamic, condenser, and tube microphones. The polarity inversion switch helps resolve any phase issues, while the high-pass filter allows you to address low-frequency noise and control the proximity effect of many microphones.
